Are you looking for a great place to play AAU basketball? Rise as One Basketball Club in Sparta, New Jersey is the best youth basketball program in the Northern New Jersey area. Our mission is to develop a positive environment for youth athletes to train in which will aid in their ability to reach their full potential. At Rise as One we know that the best way for youth athletes to improve is to provide them access to the best training tools in the industry.

While there are a lot of AAU basketball programs spread throughout New Jersey, Rise as One has proven time and time again why our organization is the best youth sports training facility and AAU program in New Jersey. The list below is the top 10 reasons why you should choose Rise as One.

DISCLAIMER: Real skill development in any sport happens between 6-10 hours per week. Skill development is a complex process that requires constant feedback delivered by skilled coaches who know how to identify deficiencies and technical errors that lead to bad habits. During these important developmental stages it is common to see programs offering – 2 practices per week for an hour and games on the weekend. This is fine for learning the basics of the sport but does very little to help players improve. If you really want a player to develop into an accomplished high school or college player they need to work between 2-4 hours per day to develop real skills that they can use on the court.

10. WELL organized team

Running a basketball team can be very challenging. There are many factors you have to keep track of, everything from game schedules, game results and stats, practices, player management (schedules, medical records, fees), uniforms, and equipment management. We take care of all those things for you with google classroom no reason to recreate the wheel.

9. FAMILY ATMOSPHERE

We are not your typical basketball organization. We don’t just build teams, we create a culture that creates success on and off the court through hard work, attitude, perseverance, and teamwork. We have amazing, committed parents that are immensely proud of their player’s contributions to the Rise as One program. This mindset fostered by a strong group of players, coaches, and parents has led Rise as One to be one of the best programs in New Jersey.

8. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

We provide a professional organized practice environment where players will constantly be challenged to better prepare them for games. Rise as One ensures that players develop the proper skills and habits, we emphasize skill development through games, drills, and individual work.

We know that the most effective way to improve your skills is through reps. After recognizing the shortcomings of most AAU programs, we decided to create an organization that would allow our players to maximize their court time. We provide all our teams with 2hrs practice and an additional skill session.

We put in the time to improve all our players not by words but by action. The proof is in our success. Over the last three years, we have beaten the best teams in New Jersey both on the girls and boys AAU circuit. We believe in the philosophy of “If you fail to prepare then prepare to fail.”

7. training aid equipment

Having the right tools makes all the difference. As an athlete in training or as a basketball team working towards a win, you want to make sure that you are not only working hard but working smart. Whether on the court or in the gym, proper basketball equipment can help you maximize your time in training to get the most out of your effort.

Being able to do that has a lot to do with the equipment that you have on hand. If you want to play at an elite level, you need to train like it. Not only do we have basketball equipment to help with the standard aspects of the game like skill development, strength, and conditioning, but we also offer unique options that can help improve a player’s in-game performance from an analytical standpoint.

Train like a Pro to Become a Pro: Other basketball programs can’t offer specialized training equipment simply because they don’t own their facility as Rise as One does. We take advantage of our gym and utilize pro-level technology to substantially expedite the learning curve. With today’s modern technology, our athletes can train with advanced equipment for an unbiased analysis of their game.

We offer young players opportunities to develop their shooting mechanics with our shooting gun machine during our private basketball training or group team training. This enables athletes and teams to work on fundamental shooting skills in a highly-effective, efficient, and game-resembling practice setting.

4. DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM

For most players and parents It is common to see programs offering – 2 practices per week for an hour and games on the weekend. This is fine for learning the basics of the sport but does very little to help players improve. Real skill development in any sport happens between 6-10 hours per week.

Skill development is a complex process that requires constant feedback delivered by skilled coaches who know how to identify deficiencies and technical errors that lead to bad habits. If you really want a player to develop into an accomplished high school or college player they need to work between 2-4 hours per day outside of their AAU basketball practices to develop skills on their own.

We run a system much like a division I Collegiate program. Players are developed over the course of years and years, not months. We advise parents to trust the process. Check our basketball results, this is the biggest proof that our system works! An area historically not known for producing college players, we have produced 15 players that are currently competing at Division I, II & III levels.

Whether you want to get into college or just be the best that you can be, we provide a place where you can learn the proper fundamentals to become a better basketball player. Check out The Basketball Factory Inc for our development programs

3. D1 COLLEGE EXPOSURE

Rise as One provides many opportunities for exposure to college recruitment that most AAU clubs cannot offer. As the only AAU club in Northern New Jersey that goes to all the College Exposure Tournaments, our players get a chance to play in front of college coaches multiple times throughout the year. Rise as One aids in this process by providing a recruiting guide.

This guide offers a step-by-step outline of the recruiting process and what to do. It also explains the rules of the NCAA for Division I, II, and III. This is done in hopes of making this process easier for players and parents as they navigate through the NCAA basketball guidelines. Check out our Exposure Schedule

2. top notch coaching staff

The foundation of any youth program is a highly qualified coaching staff. This is the first key to the development of players. All of our coaches have extensive basketball experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm to develop players. We believe each and every player that if coached properly can get better. That’s why we comprise our program with top high school coaches, former NBA players, collegiate players, and players who were once themselves AAU basketball stars. Check out our Coaching Staff
